How to Make Chicken Cones
Prepare the Filling:
- Cook minced chicken with garlic, ginger, and green chilies until fully cooked.
- Add spices like cumin, coriander, garam masala, red chili powder, and salt to taste.
- Mix in finely chopped onions, fresh coriander, and a squeeze of lemon for extra flavor.
- Let the filling cool completely before using.
Prepare the Dough:
- Make a smooth dough using flour, salt, oil, and water.
- Let it rest for 15–20 minutes for better elasticity.
Shape the Cones:
- Roll out the dough into thin sheets and cut into strips.
- Wrap the strips around metal cone molds or make a cone shape using foil.
- Press the edges to ensure the cone holds its shape.
Fry or Bake the Cones:
- Fry: Heat oil and fry the cones until golden brown and crispy.
- Bake: Brush with oil and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 15–20 minutes until crispy.
Assemble the Chicken Cones:
- Remove the cones from the molds once slightly cooled.
- Fill with the prepared chicken mixture.
