How to Make Chicken Roll
Prepare the Chicken Filling:
- In a pan, heat oil and sauté garlic, ginger, and green chilies.
- Add boneless chicken (shredded or cubed) and cook until tender.
- Season with red chili powder, black pepper, cumin, coriander, garam masala, and salt to taste.
- Mix in chopped onions, capsicum, and fresh coriander for extra flavor.
- Optional: Add a splash of soy sauce or chili sauce for a tangy kick.
- Let the filling cool completely before using.
Prepare the Dough (For Homemade Wraps):
- Make a soft dough using flour, salt, oil, and water.
- Let it rest for 15–20 minutes, then roll out into thin flatbreads (roti).
- Cook lightly on a pan and set aside. (Skip this step if using store-bought wraps or parathas.)
Assemble the Rolls:
- Place the chicken filling in the center of the wrap.
- Add shredded lettuce, sliced onions, and mayonnaise or garlic sauce.
- Sprinkle chili flakes and a squeeze of lemon for extra flavor.
- Roll tightly and secure with butter paper or foil.
Cook (Optional):
- Pan-fry with a little oil until golden and crispy.
- Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 10 minutes for a healthier option.
