How to Make Chicken Roll

Prepare the Chicken Filling:

  • Add boneless chicken (shredded or cubed) and cook until tender.
  • Season with red chili powder, black pepper, cumin, coriander, garam masala, and salt to taste.
  • Mix in chopped onions, capsicum, and fresh coriander for extra flavor.
  • Optional: Add a splash of soy sauce or chili sauce for a tangy kick.
  • Let the filling cool completely before using.

Prepare the Dough (For Homemade Wraps):

  • Make a soft dough using flour, salt, oil, and water.
  • Let it rest for 15–20 minutes, then roll out into thin flatbreads (roti).
  • Cook lightly on a pan and set aside. (Skip this step if using store-bought wraps or parathas.)

Assemble the Rolls:

  • Place the chicken filling in the center of the wrap.
  • Add shredded lettuce, sliced onions, and mayonnaise or garlic sauce.
  • Sprinkle chili flakes and a squeeze of lemon for extra flavor.
  • Roll tightly and secure with butter paper or foil.

Cook (Optional):

  • Pan-fry with a little oil until golden and crispy.
  • Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 10 minutes for a healthier option.
